We at the Frederick County Parents of Multiples, a 501c(3) Non-profit would like to introduce ourselves to you and invite you to join our club. The Frederick County Parents of Multiples (FCPOM) was formed in 1990 as a support network for parents, grandparents, and/or caregivers of multiple birth children.
We feel that we all share a common bond and can understand and relate to the specials joys and challenges of raising multiples. The club hopes to provide you with the opportunity to learn about raising multiples and offer support and advise to each of its members. Our mothers and fathers and caregivers come from all over the Frederick County area as well as surrounding counties.
We have membership meetings with various topics and speakers that are held both online and in-person. We look forward to learning more about the talents and experiences of our prospective members and we welcome you to join us at any meeting to find out what our organization has to offer you.
FCPOM is a member of the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. (NOMOTC). We receive newsletters from this organization and have the opportunity to apply for scholarships and other funds.
We are an active club with a tremendous amount to offer each other and our community. When you join our club you can expect to find some lifelong friends who truly understand the world of raising multiples.
Interested potential members would join for a free 90 day trial, and after the trial is up can remain a member upon paying dues (currently $25.00) for the year. Renewals take place in July for the beginning of our new fiscal year. If you are joining the club in Feb-June, your dues rate is pro-rated at $13.00.
Why are there dues? As a non-profit currently connected to the National Multiples of America, FCPOM pays dues on behalf of you to our parent non-profit. Dues also go toward fees for presenters at our meetings and to help lower costs of our events. We have regular meetings on varying topics, and many fun member events - kids’ parties, parents’ dinners, MoM’s night out, and more!
